Ownership you can verify
I tell clients they'll own what I build for them. This page is where that claim stops being a promise and starts being something you can check. Every app below is free to use. Most are under the permissive MIT license — use them personally or commercially, modify them, ship them inside your own product — and hexiel is GPLv3 with the Commons Clause: free to use, study and modify, just not to resell. The license is listed on every card. Most self-host with a single docker compose up (Swissberry runs on a Raspberry Pi, hexiel installs with pipx), so your data stays on your hardware. No accounts, no fees, no vendor lock-in.
It's also the easiest way to judge the work before hiring anyone: read the code.
ToBeExpected
A tiny self-hosted telemetry sink. Send events — HTTP requests, background jobs, database queries, audit logs, anything worth tracking — to one endpoint and browse, filter and search them live in a clean dashboard. Drop the client SDK into any backend or frontend and watch its activity stream in.
Simply Analytics
Privacy-first, cookieless web analytics you host yourself. Drop a tiny script on your site and see page views, visitors, referrers, technology and geography in a clean dashboard — no cookies, honors Do-Not-Track, and your visitors' data never leaves your server.
FormJet
A self-hostable form-to-email API. Point your website's contact form at FormJet and it validates the submission, filters spam (honeypots, rate limits, auto-bans), and delivers it by email — no backend of your own and no third-party form service.
Ledgerly
A family budget tracker you actually keep using. Set your recurring income once and it becomes each month's budget; enter expenses as they happen. It then tells you where the money went, what jumped since last month, and what a specific change would save — with history, trends and savings or debt-payoff goals projected from the surplus you have really been running. Mobile-first, light and dark. An optional local AI writes the monthly summary and is never allowed to state a figure.
Swissberry
A network professional's swiss army knife for the Raspberry Pi. Scan the LAN and Wi-Fi (including hidden and mesh networks), capture and decode traffic in a Wireshark-style viewer, discover Bluetooth and RFID, and automate IT-support tasks over USB — all from a mobile-first web dashboard or an on-device screen. A troubleshooting tool, not a hacking tool: every active feature is authorization-gated.
hexiel
A coding agent for your terminal that works with small, local models as well as the big cloud ones. It keeps context lean — instructions are split into small topic files, tool output is trimmed locally, and a stronger model steps in only when the local one is struggling — and it can keep a private library of the exact docs you work with. Install with pipx and point it at Ollama or any API key. The agent is free; the optional Hexiel Remote relay (drive it from your phone) is a paid add-on.
scopeflow.nvim
A live search picker for Neovim, built in — no Telescope or Snacks needed. Search inside files, by filename, or both as you type, with include and exclude filters, plain or full regex queries, wildcards in filenames and a preview pane. Uses ripgrep when it is installed and falls back to a native Lua scanner when it is not.
